This is pretty typically awful local news “reporting”: a controversial headline, obviously biased “man on the street” quotes, a gratuitous Seinfeld clip (guess which channel runs Seinfeld reruns in Chicago?), the use of an undercover camera for no apparent reason, cut to PRO and CON talking heads to avoid actually making a definitive statement about anything, and end with emailed statements from viewers to show they’re cutting edge. Pretty execrable.
